Dr. Kelly Espe feels fortunate to be a part of a profession that makes such a positive impact on every patient’s health and self-confidence. She loves meeting new patients and discussing their goals for treatment, the process of planning and actively participating in the transformation of each patient's smile, and ultimately working to achieve the best final outcome possible for everyone that she treats. She is dedicated to providing the same exceptional care and attention to detail that anyone in her own family would receive.
Dr. Espe’s artistic ability, combined with her love of science and biology, led her to a career where she gets to create beautiful smiles every day!
A life-long Minnesotan, Dr. Espe attended St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota, for her undergraduate degree in biology. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Minnesota in 2007 where she was also accepted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Espe received her Certificate in Orthodontics and Master of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in 2009.
Dr. Espe is committed to life-long learning. Continuing education allows her to stay current in dentistry and orthodontics so that she can provide the most up-to-date knowledge and treatments to best serve her patients. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, the Minnesota Dental Association, and the Minnesota Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Espe and her husband Karl live in Edina with their four young children, Ava, Charlie, Violet, and Louie. In her free time, Dr. Espe enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends.
